Our bright and spacious art gallery showcases the work of many of the regions most popular established and emerging artists whose work can also be seen on our website by visiting their artists pages.
we have recently expanded our gallery space to include a new dedicated exhibition area to promote the work of talented Northern artists who display their paintings here in the gallery@arteology on a regular basis, while our featured artists appear in our window displays every month.
the gallery@arteology, also has a varied selection of artist’s signed limited edition giclée prints of exceptional quality, original box canvases, framed oil and mixed media paintings, complimented by a carefully selected range of individually designed studio glassware and beautiful jewellery made by local craftspeople.
arteology offer a bespoke picture framing service to conservation standards and stock a wide selection of traditional and contemporary mouldings to suit all our customer needs.
as well as original art, prints and photographs, we specialise in framing sports shirts and memorabilia, x-stitch and needlepoint, family treasures including school photos and graduation certificates, war medals and much more.

arteology occupies the ground floor of west end buildings which was built in 1906, originally as a baptist chapel – during the first world war it became a military hospital followed by engineering and sewing companies before the current picture framing business, art gallery and busy art studio.
we are situated in Colne, Lancashire, 1 mile from the end of the M65 motorway and approximately 100 yards from the railway station, opposite the crown hotel.
